Meet the Team
Sarah Farmer
Owner
As the Area Owner of The Starz Program of Richmond and Greater Washington, Sarah provides strategic oversight and support across all areas of the business for both locations. Sarah has 20 years of experience operating and scaling children’s education and enrichment programs across the country with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. After spending several years in the Greater Washington area, Sarah and her husband Will currently live in Richmond with their two daughters who are proud Starz students.
Natalia Miasko
Assistant Manager
Natalia manages the day-to-day operations of the Starz program in Richmond, including class scheduling, partner relations, and supporting instructors. Natalia is currently an undergraduate student at VCU studying psychology. She studied ballet for 10 years and started teaching dance in 2019. She also has a background in musical theater. When she's not teaching with the Starz program, Natalia enjoys taking local dance classes and exploring nature trails and parks around the city.
Hanaisa
Instructor
Hanaisa is currently attending VCU and is studying as a health services major with the intent on working in health care administration. She has a background in musical theater and has experienced and practiced various forms of dance and sports. Alongside the Starz program, she is a nanny and sings in restaurants around Richmond.
Brianna
Instructor
Brianna is the owner of Elegance In Motion Dance Studio in Henrico and is excited to be part of the Starz team. She loves working with kids and creating a fun, supportive space for them to grow through dance and fitness. Outside of teaching, Brianna enjoys cooking, going for runs, and spending time with her husky.
Kyndal
Instructor
Kyndal is currently working toward her Maters in Education at VCU. She hopes to work as an elementary school counselor and eventually opens her own counseling practice for children when she graduates. She has cheered her whole life, including being the captain of her cheer team in both high school and college. In addition to serving as an instructor, she loves to give back to her home community of Fayetteville, NC through community service. In her spare time she loves to workout, listen to music, and go for walks!
Natalie
Instructor
Natalie is a Richmond native who grew up dancing at Stavna Ballet. She is passionate about creating safe spaces for youth to build confidence and express their creativity through movement. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, live music, reading, and being with her friends and family.
Kim
Instructor
Kim has a Master's Degree in Dance Education from New York University. In addition to serving as an instructor for Starz, Kim is the owner of Kimmy Kakes RVA and enjoys running and playing soccer with her son.
Yvonnia
Instructor
Yvonnia has six years of competitive gymnastics experience and previously competed as a pentathlete and triple jumper on the Virginia Military Institute track team. She enjoys kayaking on the James River and spending her free time painting.
Maddie
Instructor
Maddie has a passion for cheerleading with 16 years of experience in cheer and 6 years of experience as a cheer coach. She also has a background in gymnastics and dance. When Maddie is not coaching cheerleading, you can find her practicing her tumbling once a month to brush up on her skills or styling hair as a hairstylist.
