Emma Mak

Championing Children's Enrichment and Wellness

With a profound passion and unwavering determination, Emma is dedicated to providing enriching programs for the kids in Seminole County. Through her leadership, she has extended her efforts to support children across the Sanford, Heathrow/Lake Mary, Longwood, and Altamonte Springs school districts.

Emma's commitment to children's well-being is shown in her enthusiasm for the Starz Program, which is having a significant positive impact on children's fitness and overall well-being. As a parent herself, Emma deeply understands the value of these enrichment programs in nurturing both the minds and bodies of children.

Emma enjoys spending quality time with her twin girls, Harper and Presley. Together, they explore theme parks, engage in various outdoor activities and sports, and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle!

Emma's vision for the Starz Program is to create an environment where every child can develop better coordination and motor skills and encourage self-expression and creativity. Her dedication to fostering an engaging and supportive community is a testament to her belief in the transformative power of these enrichment programs. Madison

Dance Teacher (Team Lead/ Manager)

Dance has been integral to Madison’s life since the age of 2. With a decade of ballet experience, she attended Orlando Ballet School for seven years. Additionally, Madison explored various dance genres at Lake Mary Prep for five years and later transitioned to a competitive dance team at Lake Mary High School. There, she trained extensively in multiple genres, with a particular focus on jazz and hip hop, for four years. This team significantly contributed to her development as a versatile dancer and enhanced her leadership skills. Madison held leadership positions on the team during her sophomore, junior, and senior years.

Currently, Madison is a student at Florida State University, where she continues to pursue her passion for dance through participation in her sorority's dance team. She is eager to teach and share her enthusiasm for dance. Beyond leading her teammates, Madison has acquired teaching experience by working with various age groups at numerous dance clinics. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing the excitement a child gets when they finally perfect a new step they’ve been working on. Madison aims to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children are comfortable expressing themselves and motivated to achieve their own goals.

Alexis

Dance and Cheer Coach (Assistant Manager)

Alexis was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, and began dancing at the age of 3. She started with ballet, tap, and jazz, and quickly fell in love with performing. Over the years, she expanded her training to include lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and clogging. After joining her studio’s competition team, Alexis attended numerous dance conventions and competitions, where she earned several overall and category awards for her performances.

In addition to dancing, Alexis cheered throughout middle and high school, serving as captain during both her junior and senior years. After graduating, she began teaching and choreographing, working with students of all ages and levels. She also danced professionally for two seasons with the Jacksonville Attack Dance Team.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Alexis is passionate about creating a positive, energetic space where dancers can grow in both technique and confidence.

Anabella

Dance Teacher (Public Relations (PR) Specialist)

Anabella has been dancing since the age of five. She gained her dance training throughout her childhood at a dance studio in Lake Mary for 7 years. Beginning her freshman year of high school, she broadened her skills by joining and training on the Lake Mary High School dance team. Over four years with the team, Anabella specialized in jazz, pom, hip-hop, and high kick. Her leadership qualities were recognized early on, as she held leadership positions during her sophomore, junior, and senior years. In these roles, she contributed to choreography for both the junior varsity and varsity teams.

Anabella is eager to share her passion for dance with others who have similar interests. While serving as a leader for the Lake Mary Dance Team, she worked with various age groups from kindergarten through 12th grade, conducting dance clinics and fostering a love for dance among students. Anabella aspires to leverage her extensive experience and unwavering passion for dance to provide her students with an enriching experience, ensuring a fun, safe, and comfortable environment!

Alexa

Dance Teacher

Alexa took her first dance class at the age of two and a half, integrating performance as a fundamental aspect of her life. She grew up dancing competitively around the US, and her nationwide competition experience propelled her towards a career in performing arts. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in musical theatre with a minor in dance from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and modern dance, she is a distinguished performer within Orlando's theme parks and theaters. Additionally, she has a substantial background in teaching and choreographing various dance styles for K-12 students. With a profound passion for the arts, Alexa is dedicated to fostering a lively, fun, and safe classroom environment that encourages her students to excel both individually and collaboratively as a team!

Madison (Maddie)

Dance Teacher

With a huge love and deep passion for live performance and the arts, Madison has spent her career focusing on enhancing all three principles of her field. From her first elementary school musical, she has found a profound and undying passion for the arts and keeping them alive in schools. Originally born in the UK, Madison moved to the States and found a new community of people within her dance and theatre classes at a young age. Since then, Madison attended the Academy of Music and Theatre Arts at Falmouth University and graduated top of her class with a First Class Bachelor of Arts (With Honors) degree in Musical Theatre. While earning her degree back in her home country, Madison also spent her time devising and workshopping theatre and dance projects with industry professionals. From getting the opportunity to work on a commercial children’s musical to enhancing local projects within Cornwall, Madison enhanced all aspects of her skillset. While earning her degree, she earned a high proficiency in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Commercial, and Musical Theatre dance styles and techniques. With a huge history of working in entertainment across multiple theme parks and theatre venues around Orlando, she wants to bring her dream of teaching performance and dance to life. By using her extensive background in children’s theatre and dance education, Madison hopes to share her ambition, passion, and the magic of the arts with the younger generation for years to come!

Mackenzie

Dance Teacher

Mackenzie has been dancing since the age of five and has trained in a wide range of styles including jazz, pom, kick, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary. She trained at a dance studio in Longwood, Florida for nine years before joining the Lake Mary High School Dance Team, where she spent four years performing and competing at the varsity level. Mackenzie took on leadership roles as co-captain her junior year and captain her senior year. These experiences helped shape her both as a performer and a leader. She gained valuable skills in leading practices, assisting with choreography, teamwork, communication, and motivation.

Mackenzie has a deep passion for teaching and working with children. She currently teaches hip hop classes to elementary-aged students and is praised for her ability to make each class fun, energetic, and supportive. She focuses on making dance classes a space where students can express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process.

Now a college student majoring in Elementary Education, Mackenzie is committed to combining her love of dance with her desire to inspire the next generation. She hopes to create a space where young dancers feel confident, creative, and empowered to be themselves.

Ainsley

Cheer Coach

Ainsley has been involved in cheerleading for over a decade. She began her journey as a competitive All-Star cheerleader at the age of 3. Over the last 13 seasons, she has gained experience in tumbling, stunting, and performing under pressure. In high school, she expanded her cheer experience by joining the Lake Mary High School cheer team, where she served as the sideline Team Captain and participated in the high school competition team. Over the years, Ainsley has competed at prestigious events including Cheersport Nationals, NCA (National Cheerleaders Association), UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association), the Cheer Summit, the Cheerleading Worlds, and High School Nationals. She is a Summit champion, A Cheersport champion, a US Trials Gold Medalist, a Worlds silver medalist, and she placed third in the country at High School Nationals.

Ainsley’s passion for cheer goes beyond performance. From 2021 to 2023, she served as a Junior Cheer Coach at one of Central Florida’s leading competitive cheerleading and dance centers. There, she worked alongside coaches to help athletes build skills, gain strength and flexibility, improve confidence, and develop stage performance. She led practices, guided athletes through routines, and created a positive environment where young cheerleaders could grow. Ainsley is excited to share her love of cheer with new athletes, aiming to provide a fun, structured, and encouraging space for every child to succeed and shine!

Chelsea

Dance and Cheer Coach

Chelsea is a recent graduate of Jacksonville University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with honors. With a strong foundation in musical theatre, she brings a dynamic blend of acting and Broadway-inspired movement to her choreographic style.

Chelsea has taught at numerous dance studios across Jacksonville, including Dynamics Dance, Grande Finale Dance Company, Jacksonville Centre of the Arts, and Ballet Arts Centre. She was also an instructor in the youth program at The Florida Ballet at a non-profit church and has choreographed for three seasons of Don’t Miss A Beat’s Broadway Experience.

Her background in both dance and cheer has significantly shaped her career. Chelsea was a member of the Jacksonville University Sirens collegiate cheer team and went on to cheer professionally with the Jacksonville 95ers. She later became the team’s director, where she choreographed high-energy routines and cultivated a supportive, inclusive environment within a competitive space.

Chelsea is passionate about inspiring both students and audiences. She firmly believes that anyone can dance when they lead with passion and heart.

Rylie

Dance Teacher

Dance has been a central part of Rylie’s life since the age of two. Growing up in Miami, Florida, she trained at various studios and competed extensively throughout her childhood and teenage years. Rylie was also an active member of both her middle and high school dance teams, experiences that shaped her dedication, discipline, and love for performance. Currently, Rylie is a student at the University of Central Florida, pursuing a degree in Communications with a minor in Dance. She continues to nurture her passion by serving as the coach of her sorority’s dance team, where she develops choreography, mentors her peers, and strengthens her leadership skills.

Rylie’s dance journey has been highlighted by numerous awards at competitions, as well as opportunities to perform professionally. One of her proudest achievements was dancing in the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. These experiences have fueled her dream of one day owning her own dance studio, where she hopes to inspire the next generation of dancers. Beyond performing, Rylie values the joy of teaching. She strives to create an encouraging and energetic environment, helping dancers grow in both skill and confidence. For her, the most rewarding part of teaching is witnessing the excitement when a dancer masters a step they’ve been working hard to achieve!

Nyana

Dance Teacher

Nyana’s dance career spans over 14 years, including a decade of extensive training with Hip Hop Kidz in Miami, Florida.

She has gained remarkable performance experience with renowned artists such as Maluma, Diplo, Paula Abdul, Luis Fonsi, and Lizzo. She has also performed as a backup dancer for Vanilla Ice and Stevie B., and her talent has led her to major stages including Miami Fashion Week for Karl Kani, Miami Swim Week, and the 2023 Orange Bowl Halftime Show with Walk the Moon.

Beyond performing, Nyana has established herself as a skilled choreographer and teacher. She has choreographed and assisted with high-profile events such as Miami Heat Halftime shows and foundation galas, while also teaching advanced routines, leading summer training sessions, and providing private lessons for students of all ages. Her leadership skills were strengthened during her time as a Hip Hop Kidz team captain, where she fostered teamwork, discipline, and growth among her peers.

In addition to her dance career, Nyana is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) College of Business. With her passion for teaching and mentoring, she is dedicated to guiding young dancers to reach their full potential while instilling a lifelong love of dance. Her creativity, energy, and ability to connect with students make her an inspiring instructor and mentor.

Emma

Gymnastics and Cheer Coach

What began as a childhood love for gymnastics grew into a lifelong passion for teamwork and movement! Emma spent about two years as a gymnast, during which she developed a love for tumbling and participated in tumbling classes for about a year before transitioning to competitive cheerleading. Emma spent 4 years at Brandon Allstars as a competitive cheerleader. She also spent another 4 years cheering and competing for her high school Varsity and competition teams. This experience enabled Emma to acquire essential skills in communication and leadership, contributing to her development both as an athlete and as an individual. She now maintains an active lifestyle through yoga.

Her passion for working with kids, along with her knowledgeable background, led her to spend 3 years coaching for the YMCA. During that time, Emma served as a team lead and program coordinator for the organization for a year and a half. She proudly launched a Cheer program for the YMCA, giving young athletes a new way to explore their talents and gain confidence!

Today, Emma is furthering her education at the University of Central Florida (UCF), majoring in Business Management. She is driven to create a welcoming, supportive environment where children feel encouraged to try new things, celebrate every little success, whether it's mastering a new skill or building confidence, all while having fun along the way! She is excited to expand her passion for coaching as well as spread her love for gymnastics and cheer alive!

Leila

Gymnastics Coach

Leila’s gymnastics journey began at just three years old at the YMCA in Arlington, Virginia, where she trained for ten years and advanced through the program to the Xcel Silver team. She then continued at Classics Gymnastics in Charlottesville, Virginia, competing on the Xcel Silver team from ages 13 to 15. After moving to Florida, Leila joined Ace Gymnastics, where she competed on the Xcel Gold team from 15 to 17. After finishing her competitive career, Leila found a new passion for coaching. She has been working with children ages 3–13, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and fall in love with gymnastics just as she did. Leila is dedicated to creating a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment where every child can feel proud of their progress and celebrate their successes, big or small!

Monica

Cheer Coach

Born in New Jersey, Monica participated in dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading throughout her childhood. Performing, including singing, has always held a special place in her life since she can remember. Recognized with several awards, and winning competitions only continued her path to learn and share her gifts and talents with others. As she continued cheer and singing took the lead roles in her heart throughout high school. She captained her high school squad, and discovered a love for teaching as well.

Over 20 years spent teaching in the beauty industry she combined passion and leadership skills in adult education. Helping others discover their gifts, and learn new skills has been intricate in her role educating. Understanding different learner types, and customize teaching methods has built many successful professionals in her field. Her daughter is what reignited her spark for cheer and coaching! Sharing her love of this sport with the next generation has created a family legacy close to her heart, and remains the driving force to continue teaching and choregraphing. She believes in the mentorship she provides regarding teamwork, encouragement, discipline, confidence, and leadership. Recognizing how they coincide with developing cheer skills, and technique to pursue many different avenues in this sport later, or just have fun learning something new, and different.

This last decade of cheer coach experience she's used her progression stye to provide a structured place to focus on a sport her athletes can continue to build their own love for! She believes in giving back to her community, and has done so within this sport for many years now.

Sandra

Gymnastics Coach

Sandra was a competitive gymnast for nearly 15 years and proudly represented Peru as a member of the National Team for 8 years. During her athletic career, she competed in numerous national and international competitions across South America and abroad, gaining extensive experience and a strong understanding of what it takes to perform at an elite level.

Her years as a high-performance athlete instilled in her the values of discipline, resilience, and teamwork; qualities she now passes on to her students. After retiring due to injury, Sandra discovered a new passion for coaching and has spent the past five years helping young gymnasts build confidence and skill. She has coached athletes of all ages and levels, from beginners to competitive gymnasts, and has attended both national and international meets with her teams. In addition to her gymnastics career, Sandra is currently a student at the University of Central Florida (UCF), majoring in Health Sciences.

Sandra is deeply committed to creating a positive, supportive, and empowering environment where children, preteens, and teens feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential. Her greatest joy comes from watching athletes fall in love with gymnastics the same way she did… Through hard work, perseverance, and pride in every accomplishment.

AspenRose

Dance Teacher

AspenRose is originally from South Bend, Indiana, and has spent most of her life in Orlando, Florida. She discovered her love for dance at just eight years old and has trained at several studios, studying a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop. A graduate of East River High School, she was an active member of the dance team, cheer team, and Color Guard—where she proudly served as captain.

For the past two years, AspenRose has shared her passion by teaching dance to children ages 2 to 10. She strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where her students feel confident, inspired, and truly fall in love with dance. Her dedication to helping children grow both on and off the dance floor drives her as she pursues her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF)!

Mackenzie

Dance and Cheer Coach

Mackenzie moved to Orlando, Florida, from Kansas City, Missouri, for college but missed the connection to dance she had back home. Mackenzie’s dance background spans roughly 13 years, with experience in numerous styles. Starting at the age of four years old, Mackenzie took ballet classes, wanting to follow in her mom’s footsteps, who did ballet for 16 years of her life.

At 10 years old, Mackenzie decided her passion was competitive studio dance. Starting with a couple of acro and jazz classes, soon blossomed into nearly 20 hours at the studio a week, participating in a range of styles such as lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, as well as classes on dancers' mental health and technique training. Come freshman year of high school, Mackenzie made the Grain Valley High School dance team, which deepened her experience of hip hop and introduced precision jazz, pom, and kick. She spent her junior year as co-captain and senior year as head captain of the team, where she collaborated on choreography and learned valuable leadership and motivational skills.

Throughout her dance career, Mackenzie also spent a few years teaching within her dance studio to ages 2-8 years old and was very involved with her city's youth cheer team and volunteering with that. Her love for dance stems deep, and her love for teaching, deeper; her past experience has developed excellent leadership skills and a passion for teaching. She is excited not just to spread her love of dance but to help kids build confidence and feel accomplished in what they do, and show that you can learn things while having fun!

Isabella (Izzy)

Dance and Cheer Coach

Izzy began dancing at an early age and quickly discovered her love for the art form. A significant part of her dance journey began at her home studio, South Coast Conservatory, where she was fortunate enough to experience many diverse opportunities over the years. There, she danced competitively, attending conventions and national competitions annually. Around the age of sixteen, Isabella started as a teacher's assistant and substitute teacher before leading her own classes. Later, she became the co-director of a performance company and instructed competition teams. In addition, Izzy performed with several dance companies and was inducted into the National Honor Society of Dance Arts. She was also highly involved in her high school's dance programs as a song leader on the Pep Squad and choreographer for various dance groups.

After graduating, she spent two years in the Orange Coast College Dance Department while earning her Associate’s Degree in Psychology, and then completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with minors in Education and Human Development. While attending college full-time, she worked as a competitive coach at a local studio, where her teams and soloists received numerous awards. Izzy also served as a choreographer for her college dance team, cheering at sporting and town events. One of her favorite memories is performing at an NBA Game and traveling with her team for March Madness.

Coming from an artistic family, Isabella grew up surrounded by creativity and developed a deep appreciation for dance. She believes dance provides countless benefits, including coordination, discipline, expression, and athleticism. Izzy is excited to work with a program that promotes physical activity and brings structured movement in school settings. She looks forward to bringing her high-energy, enthusiasm, and passion for dance to every class and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
