Sarah Farmer
Owner & Executive Director
As the Owner & Executive Director of The Starz Program of Richmond and The Starz Program of Greater Washington, Sarah provides strategic oversight and support across all areas of the business for both locations. Sarah has 20 years of experience operating and scaling children’s education and enrichment programs across the country with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. After spending several years in the Greater Washington area, Sarah and her husband Will currently live in Richmond with their two daughters who are proud Starz students.

Kyla Amelechkin
Instructor/Administrator
Kyla is an undergraduate student at George Washington University studying Exercise Science with the goal of one day becoming a physical therapist. Kyla has extensive experience with sport & fitness, being a lifelong swimmer and a youth swim coach, as well as spending years playing soccer, lacrosse, and recreational hockey. She has a passion for exercise, coaching, and helping people find confidence through movement, and in her free time she likes to play the flute and read.

Anisa
Instructor
Anisa is a student at Howard University completing a degree in criminology and political science with hopes of one day becoming an attorney. Anisa has danced competitively for as long as she can remember and has been a dance teacher for over four years. Her favorite style of dance is tap, and her second love after dance is animals. She loves to cuddle with animals, whether it be a dog, cat or cow.

Cindy
Instructor
Cindy is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in cybersecurity. She has experience leading children's enrichment programs, has served as a summer camp counselor, and also danced on several competitive hip-hop and contemporary jazz dance teams. Cindy loves to bake intricate pastries and cakes and also likes to play video games.

Dea
Instructor
Dea is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Criminology at Howard University and intends to enter law school after graduation. Dea was involved in many sports and fitness activities throughout her life, including basketball, soccer, and dancing. She is excited to bring her talents to the Starz team to help children develop their skills.

Jayla
Instructor
Jayla is an undergraduate student at Howard University studying marine biology. Jayla was a dancer and cheerleader growing up, enjoys being active, and loves working with children. In her spare time, Jayla enjoys playing with her dogs and she can also play the violin.
