Jessica ascended to the role of Owner at Starz of Broward in July 2024, infused with boundless enthusiasm to pioneer exceptional enrichment programs for Broward's youth. Residing in Deerfield Beach, FL, alongside her cherished family — husband Todd, son Elijah, and their loyal dog, Mailo — Jessica finds joy in exploring local farmers markets, museums, play centers, and eateries with loved ones. Previously a dedicated teacher within the Starz Program from 2019 to 2020, Jessica boasts over 12 years of dance expertise, cultivated through her education at a prestigious Creative and Performing Arts High School. Her journey with Starz combines her passion for fitness with a deep-seated commitment to nurturing young minds, making her a driving force in community enrichment and youth development initiatives.

Instructor

Jehnelle is a passionate dancer with 19 years of experience and over 11 years of experience working with and mentoring children. One of her favorite styles of dance is hip hop, and she is known for bringing fun, energy, and positivity to every class she leads.

She truly enjoys reaching out to her students and helping them grow through both dance and overall fitness. Jehnelle strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every child has the opportunity to shine within the STARZ program.

Instructor

Devika is a passionate and dedicated dance instructor, student leader, and aspiring healthcare professional with years of experience working with and mentoring children through dance, leadership, and community service. She is currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Management on the Pre-Pharmacy track at Nova Southeastern University while continuing her involvement in healthcare and research-focused initiatives.

One of Devika’s favorite things about teaching is becoming part of a child’s life and watching them grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression over time. She is known for bringing positive energy, patience, and encouragement into every class, creating a welcoming environment where every student feels supported and valued within the STARZ program. Through dance and mentorship, Devika hopes to inspire children to believe in themselves, have fun, and always feel comfortable being who they are.

Hello, my name is Lillian and I am excited to start coaching this summer! I have loved cheerleading and sports since I was in elementary school. The coaches I had really inspired me to be team player, boosted my confidence, and gave me an environment to express myself. I can’t wait to help Starz students to do the same! My goal is to create a fun, exciting, and engaging environment for all children, and hopefully inspire them to fall in love with sports the way I did.

Instructor

Claudia is an energetic and passionate instructor who brings a lifetime of dance experience to the Starz Program, including 14 years as a competitive dancer. While she loves all styles, her favorites are tap and jazz funk!

Currently, Claudia is a student at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Nonprofit Management. At UCF, she is a member of Pi Beta Phi and recently served on the Morale Committee for Knight-Thon, helping raise funds for Orlando Health Children's Hospital.

From assisting at her childhood studio and doting on her niece and nephews, to supporting "miracle kids" through UCF's Dance Marathon, Claudia has always loved working with children. She is thrilled to inspire the next generation of dancers with the Starz Program!

Instructor

Morgan is a recent graduate of Santaluces High School, where she was a varsity sideline cheerleader for three years. She brings an extensive background in competitive cheerleading, having competed up to Level 5, along with four years of experience coaching all-star cheerleading. Morgan is incredibly passionate about helping athletes build their confidence both on and off the mat.

Alexia is a Track & Field student-athlete at UCF with a deep passion for youth sports and mentorship. Balancing academics and athletics has taught her the true value of teamwork, discipline, and encouragement. For Alexia, the best part of coaching is watching a child’s confidence grow. Through the STARZ program, she is dedicated to creating a high-energy, supportive environment where students can stay active, build self-belief, and have fun mastering new skills.
