Alexandria Area Owner

Before joining the Starz Program as Managing Owner of Starz of Alexandria in 2017, Lisa Nemeth served for over 21 years as a licensed School Psychologist for a countywide system. Awarded “School Psychologist of the Year” in North Carolina, Lisa earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, and an Advanced Certificate in School Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She also holds certification in Traumatic Brain Injury Assessment.

Lisa is no stranger to athletics, with experience in collegiate athletics as both a player and head coach. Lisa’s varied background in education, her love for athletics, and her collegiate coaching experience, provide her the perfect foundation to bring the Starz Program to Alexandria, VA.

Lisa is a believer in fitness, mindfulness and movement as fundamental keys to healthy psychological development in youth. She looks forward to helping “Spread Shine” in her new hometown!

Alexandria Area Director

Jade Bocek grew up in Indiana and played multiple sports throughout her childhood. She has a Bachelors Degree in Applied Exercise and Health from Purdue University and minored in Organizational Leadership. She has taught a variety of fitness classes for everyone from infants to high school students and is a certified Youth Fitness Specialist. Jade also has experience as a preschool teacher and director of a children's gym.

In her free time, Jade enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and two cats. She loves being outdoors, trying new restaurants and going to amusement parks! She is so excited to use the Starz Program to spread shine to the children of Alexandria and aid in their physical, mental, social and emotional development!
